More About the Project
This cross-border cooperation aims to strengthen economic, social, and environmental connections between Romania and Hungary. By working together, we address shared challenges, leverage common opportunities, and create lasting positive impact for communities on both sides of the border.
The project focuses on sustainable development, knowledge transfer, and capacity building to provide long-term regional wellbeing and a better quality of life for all involved.
Our organization participates as a project partner in the implementation of the Banaticum (ROHU00279) project, which aims to preserve and digitally showcase the cultural and historical heritage of Csongrád-Csanád County and the Romanian Banat region. As part of the project, the banaticum.ro portal will be further developed to make the region’s built, tangible, and intangible cultural heritage accessible in Romanian, Hungarian, and English. Together with the project partners, we are working on establishing a shared database, digitizing cultural heritage content, and organizing professional workshops and presentation events. The project contributes to raising wider awareness of the region’s shared cultural heritage and strengthening Romanian–Hungarian cross-border cooperation.
